Antigua 1882 QV wmk CA 2½d Red-Brown Offset Duty Pair Mint SG22 cat £380

Queen Victoria watermark Crown CA 2½d red-brown pair mint. With misaligned duty which is very notably right and low - unusual for De La Rue keytypes. Charles Freeland's Antigua book suggests these could be from a sheet of printer's waste and notes that one pair exists - which was likely referring to this pair. The right-hand stamp with extensive gum loss across the reverse top corner and with small red adhesions. Mounted mint.
