King George V 1sh black/emerald used on illustrated first flight airmail by Royal Air Force cover sent to Lilongwe. With 30th May 1933 First Nyd Airmail postmark and unclear Zomba mark cancelling the stamp and handwritten "First Nyasaland Air Mail Zomba to Lilongwe Royal Air Force 30th May 1933". Reverse with 30th May Lilongwe arrival mark. Cover enclosure is commemorative handwritten note of the first flight written on King's African Rifles crested notepaper.
