Rhodesia used Bechuanaland 1922 KGV Admiral 2½d p14 Used SG201 w KASANE Postmark

King George V Admiral 2½d blue perforation 14 used. With 6th November 1922 Kasane postmark, blank before 6 - very rare usage. With a few shortish perfs and some tones.

The RSC Journal 214 notes - "There would seen to be no doubt that during the years after Kasane opened (probably in 1921) mail was exchanged with Livingstone and that there was no regular link with any other Protectorate office. Under the circumstances it is very likely that Kasane was then selling Rhodesian stamps. Strikes of the datestamp would, however be rare as there could have been no more than a handful of people writing and receiving letters."
