King George VI thick map 1d black and violet marginal block of 4 mint. The top left stamp with Extra Island variety. With a little black paper adhesion at margin edge, extensive pencil note on front margin and discoloured mark on reverse of the bottom right stamp. Unmounted mint, but one stamp imperfect gum.
