Great Britain 1742? Pre-Stamp Bishop Mark + JA Wrapper Sent London to Cambridge

Great Britain pre-stamp wrapper sent from London to Master of Christ College, Cambridge. On reverse blocked out Bishop Mark '26 / OC' and receiver's mark 'JA' (which was noted as John Atkinson at Lincoln Inn 1739-48) and manuscript 7 on front. I am not clear where the pencilled date of 1742 has been obtained.
